With The Three Peaks just around the corner – we have decided, instead of just throwing everyone in the deep end – to put together some training walks!
The Shed will arrange transport to and from, supply everyone with water, first aid and you will be guided by our very own team!
A perfect chance to get some training in before The Three Peaks, make them your own personal challenges, meet like minded and new people!
The walks are open to EVERYONE – you do not have to be a member of The Shed to join us!
This does come with a small cost but, we cover all your needs to enjoy the trekking and the mountain air!
There are VERY limited spaces available, so pop us an email or call now 01327 877813 to reserve* your space!
We start off with The Malvern Hills!
The Malvern walk is a 9 mile trek through hills that divide the Counties of Worcestershire and Herefordshire. The soils on the ridge top provide ideal walking conditions and stunning views. another of The Hills are the many fountains and springs which flow from outlets all around them. The highest point on the Hills is the Worcestershire Beacon (425m) with North Hill (397m) and the British Camp Hill (Herefordshire Beacon – 338m) the other highest points.
Malvern Hills are protected by Acts of Parliament and are maintained by groups of Conservators.
Then we are onto the fabulous, Peak District, The Pennine Way to be exact!
Did you know that The Pennine Way was the first national trial and is part of the often referred to, The Spine of England?
It passes through quiet, remote parts of the country, surrounded by rolling hills and wild moorland.
It’s also roughly 268miles long and could take 3 weeks to complete!
Don’t worry, we won’t be walking that far! We only have a day!
Call now to book* your place – this walk is a firm favourite with the Adventure Shedders!
More info to follow!
And finally, to end our trio of treks, we give you, the ever popular –
Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa, if you fancy a bit of Welsh) is the highest mountain in England and Wales! Snowdon is located on top of the village Llanberis and it’s sort after trials can feature views of Snowdonia, Anglesey, Pembrokeshire and Ireland!
The trek will be approxiemately 8-9miles and will take around 6 hours in total.
We don’t have many spaces left – this is the most popular trek we are holding so be quick quick quick to book!*
